The Syncopaths<\/b> est un groupe de \u201cJungle Rock\u201d que j\u2019ai rejoint entre 2021 et 2022, au moment o\u00f9 le monde commen\u00e7ait \u00e0 sortir des confinements li\u00e9s au COVID-19. Ce projet a marqu\u00e9 une \u00e9tape importante dans mon parcours, en me reconnectant avec le fait de faire de la musique en groupe et de jouer enti\u00e8rement en live, contrastant avec mes DJ-sets ou performances live \u00e9lectroniques en solo.<\/p>\n
Le groupe r\u00e9unissait Rani Kayaleh (chant et paroles), Miasy Raolonson (basse), Andy Huguet (saxophone et seconde voix), Matos Rojas (guitare et composition), Wuydi Itas (batterie), et moi-m\u00eame, Patrick Eichenberger alias OXSA, aux claviers, au scratch, \u00e0 la troisi\u00e8me voix, et au mixage studio.<\/p>\n
Ce projet m\u2019a \u00e9galement pouss\u00e9 \u00e0 am\u00e9liorer mon mat\u00e9riel musical et mes comp\u00e9tences, tout en m\u2019investissant dans la cr\u00e9ation des visuels et des mix finaux.<\/p>\n
Le d\u00e9part du chanteur lead et du bassiste a marqu\u00e9 la fin d\u2019un chapitre, mais aussi la naissance d\u2019un nouveau projet : Super Synco<\/b>. Dans cette nouvelle formation, le saxophoniste est devenu le chanteur lead, j\u2019ai pris le r\u00f4le de second chanteur, et la basse est d\u00e9sormais jou\u00e9e sur un synth\u00e9tiseur.<\/p>\n

This project was a key milestone in my career, reconnecting me with playing music in a group and performing entirely live, in contrast to my solo DJ sets or electronic live shows.<\/p>\n The band included Rani Kayaleh (vocals and lyrics), Miasy Raolonson (bass), Andy Huguet (saxophone and backup vocals), Matos Rojas (guitar and composition), Wuydi Itas (drums), and myself, Patrick Eichenberger aka OXSA, on keyboards, scratching, backup vocals, and studio engineering.<\/p>\n This project also pushed me to upgrade my musical equipment and skills while investing in creating visuals and final mixes.<\/p>\n The departure of the lead singer and bassist marked the end of an era but also the beginning of a new project: Super Synco<\/b>.
